Pavel Rendzov Info

Born in Stip Macedonia in 1969, Pavel Rendzov began his musical training at the age of 7 with his family. At 15 he began studies with Czech professor Emil Klan in classical percussion while also playing in various rock, pop and ethno projects including the band Lola V.Stein which received international recognition. At 19 he became drummer and percussionist of the Macedonian Big Band Orchestra.

His next step brought him to Germany to study at the Musik Hochschule in Cologne with professor Keith Copeland where he successfully completed his degree in jazz studies. Since then he has been performing as soloist and drummer/percusionist with various projects including the Cirque du Soleil, a season at the Düsseldorf Schauspiel Haus, and various T.V., gala and theatre engagements.

Pavel is currently living in Stuttgart where he is a regular feature performer on bottles and drums at Pomp Duck & Circumstance.
